How big I am

I can not believe I thought I was big at 15 weeks!! Look at me now!! Almost 35 weeks and into the final stretch!! How amazing!!! Jason recently said my stomache is bigger than my head - I hope my head is not this big!!

Baby Shower Dec 2008

I can't believe that I have already had my showers and I am going into the final stretch. Becky threw me a "wedding reception" - not really a shower. The martini bar was a definate hit and it seemed like everyone ( like all 29 people) had a really fun time. It was really special seeing how many people are truly in my life and how amazing they all are!!! Friends and family have been so kind and so generous. Gavin is going to have lots of love - that is for sure. I am so gland mom and Karen could meet so many people that are special to me!! I missed having my other 2 sisters there though.

Becky certainly outdid herself and planned the party of the "century". She is truly amazing and has been throughout this entire process. She has brought me so much joy in my life and this experience is no different. She has shared so much of this with me and helped with so much and I am forever grateful for our friendship and her love. THANKS BECK!!!

I only have about 5 more weeks and I can finally say that I think I am really ready for all of this. I can't wait to meet Gavin but in no rush for this experience to end. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in this amazing journey. It has truly shown what amazing people are in my life!!

Pictures at almost 30 weeks

Here are some pictures that were taken when I was 29 weeks pregnant. Definately getting larger and larger. But, still feel great and would not trade all these amazing things that are happening to me!!! Gavin is very active and I love that the most!! I feel good and hope the last 2 months go as smoothly. My shower for work will be at my friend Neisha's and that will be 11/23 and my shower with family and friends will of course be hosted by Becky!! That will be on 12/6. Both should be real fun!! I am getting the nursery delivered over Thanksgiving weekend so that should be real fun and will make this even more real!!! Will post pictures of that and the showers in the next month!!

October 2008

This is the first time I have ever experienced "blogging" but I thought it would be a great time to begin creating a site so that I can share with all of you. This is such a turning point in my life and I hope to be able to share my adventures with those I love. As most of you know, I am now entering my last trimester of my pregnancy. I have had a great pregnancy and most of the time I feel great. I have enjoyed and cherished this whole process and can not wait for what is next. Gavin is due in the middle of January and I am busy organizing and purchasing all that is needed. I have also read what seems like every philosophy and guide to raising boys. So many to think about!! Each day I look forward to feeling well and watching my body change as well as enjoying all the movement that occurs with his every movement.



My work and friends have all been a huge support to me and I can not express all of my gratitude. My family has gone above and beyond to provide me with love, reassurances and so much support - but I would not have expected anything else from them!! They are always there for each other.



As the fall quickly moves forward I look forward to sharing the end of this adventure with you and on with the next great journey as I welcome Gavin into this crazy world of mine.
